My first baby, Izabella, was born emergency C-section in a special children’s hospital. I wasn’t able to stay with her for the entire six weeks she was there but I did drive 2 hrs each direction every other day to see her. I believe that the breast milk I was able to pump and take with me, saved her life.
She was born only 1 pound, 14 ounces and today, she is a happy, healthy perfect 6 year old and we are now expecting baby number two, which I plan to breast-fead! I couldn’t be more excited!
